Re: Episode 3x17: "The Jolly Roger"

I'm not unhappy that Hook fell back to his "pirate" ways during the lost year. I would have been surprised if he hadn't.

Though I was amused to see his "pirating" on land thing. I'm pretty sure that's being a bandit, not a pirate...but whatever.

The Blackbeard thing seemed a bit anti-climactic. I loved seeing Ariel being badass. I was sad, but not surprised that he wouldn't give up his ship for Eric's location.

What hurt so bad was how much he was hurting from the stuff he had done. How much he regretted it.
What hurt that the Ariel in Storybrooke was actually Zelena...Fucking Cora and her kids and their disguise shit.

I hate that Hook is cursed now, with a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. I loved that he admitted his love for Emma out loud. I hate that it ended up being to Zelena.

I hate hate hate hate hate Zelena now.

I knew as a huge Hook fan and Captain Swan shipper that this episode would break my heart so much, but I didn't realize just how much.

Other thoughts: I'm not sure how good an idea it is for Emma to be learning magic from a currently "heartless" Regina...just saying.

David taking Henry driving! I loved Regina's reactions even better.

I loved Regina putting a protection spell around the Charmings' place. She's come a long way, hasn't she? Then again she has someone new to hate now!

I'm glad that Eric and Ariel are together now and outside of the curse's range.
