Yes, I understand. It was pretty awful; but that's part of why I hope maybe they can make up to some extend? Or at least talk it out and decide they can't... I'm glad that him having an interesting background will mean they'll probably actually deal with this, instead of just leaving it at 'oh hey Emma was going to marry a flying monkey, let's not talk about the trauma that must have caused'.
I don't wonder at him having a child with Cora when he was young, but at him agreeing to marry that woman's daughter when he's old, knowing that he slept with the mother (even if maybe he doesn't even know about the child), 'cause that's a bit fucked up.
