Yeah, I think I see it from Emma's point of view too much. It was her first long-term relationship and it was all lies. And personally I tend to dislike that sort of thing.
Charcter-wise...I'm glad they decided to do more with Walsh than just make him a flying monkey/WWotW minion. It also explains why they kept his identity so under wraps too.
I wonder what he wanted Zelena to get him from Rumple?
We have yet to see what Leopold was like when he was young though, he may not have been as nice. Eva wasn't. She was the one that fussed when Cora spilled the flour on her and wanted her to kneel. It was later that she became a much nicer person it seems. Maybe she learned from her mistakes?
