I've seen a lot of people talk about this on my friends list, and I have to agree: the introduction with the gimp suit and the mistress doesn't jive well with the rest of the episode.

But Sherlock's knowledge of professional dominatrixes and kink just screams constant plot bunnies to me (and not all of them the kinkfic variety).
