I think the first time I ragequit a show it was with Sleepy Hollow. And then Grimm. The showrunners lost their minds.

But wow, that was a shitty thing for your friends to do! I'd have been pissed! Tbh, he wasn't my favorite character, but it was very shocking, especially for the season premiere. But that does come to a satisfying resolution, and it helps to spur a lot of the character development.
