Watch-Along: Show of the Month: Leverage

For December, instead of highlighting a single show - I'm going to to genre weeks. Please let me know what sort of genres (ie. scifi, comedy, procedural, etc) you'd like to see highlighted in a 'Previously On' post in December and I will try to get to as many as I can.

P.S. haha --- I don't know which day is slower, Saturdays or Sundays. Let's just call these a 'weekend' post? ;)

Watch-Along: Show of the Month: Leverage

If they to make a spinoff after the ending of Leverage with Parker, Haridson and Elliot, what do you think the title should be?

I had plans to return to my SG-1 rewatch this week, but was sidetracked by my various exchange projects (yuletide, festivids, etc)
So, I caught up on some current TV, but no old shows. :(


I haven't watched Farscape since it aired, but find I still think of the quote "or I'l fill you full of... little.... yellow... bolts of light" frequently at work. (I paraphrase)

I also quote Supernatural a lot. Like "he full on obi-wan'd me" and "you're a walking encyclopedia of weird" and "the whistle makes me their god"

I'm thinking I might try tackling The Wire this week. I've had the DVDs for a while, and haven't gotten around to watching them. Plus it seems like a good time, with my usual shows going on hiatus.

Genre weeks! I vote for scifi and maybe procedurals. But definitely scifi.

I've never watched The Wire properly. I've seen episodes here and there but never the whole thing.

This week I watched:
Homeland (last sunday's ep) -- OMG HOLEEEEE .... That was one hell of an episode.

Gotham: I'm starting to get bored. These are a bunch of great characters in search of a story arc.

Flash: Oh my sweet DC easter eggs

Kingdom: Oh, clan Kulina, you are epically messed up, in all the best, juciest ways.

Constantine: Why the hell didn't they air this really damn great episode on Halloween?!

Watched the latest episode of:

Castle - I am glad Castle is finally getting back to his old self with the really inappropriate remarks :D It's what makes the show. It was a pretty good episode, with a couple of good twists.

The Flash - I am really enjoying this show. I didn't think I'd get into it this soon (I expected a few awkward episodes like most season beginners as actors get into their character roles, but this has been a pleasant surprise). I am dying to find out the true story behind SO much in this show.

Constantine - This was probably one of the best episodes this whole season and I really enjoyed the last three(first two ...meh). I really hope rumors are wrong and they don't cancel this show ... I hate how they barely give shows a chance anymore. Two episodes in and already saying they'll be cancelled.

I also saw FOUR seasons (3, 4, 5 and 6) of How I Met Your Mother. It was a holiday weekend :D

The Wire is a good show but very overrated. I've watched every episode but I wouldn't go through a rewatch, for example. Still, it's enjoyable :)

I think you're the first person I've heard say that! But the one time I did trying watching it, I didn't get very far, so I may end up agreeing with you.
