THE LAST MAN ON EARTH is a new single-camera comedy that chronicles the life and adventures of an average guy – and humanity’s last hope – who discovers what life is like when no one is telling you what you can and cannot do. The year is 2020, and after a deadly virus has swept the planet, only one man is left on earth: PHIL MILLER (Forte). He used to be just an average guy who loved his family and hated his job. Now, in his RV, Phil searches the country for other survivors.

I'm at a loss about how they're going to sustain this show. One man wrecking things every week?

Well there are other series regulars listed so I think this summary is more about the premise than the whole series but who know? Also it's from the guys who made The Lego Movie and 21/22 Jump Street so there might be some good ideas and funny moments at least. I must say this got me intrigued whereas the pitch did not but I'll wait and see what reviews say.
